The quality of life in North America depends on the work of nonprofit institutions that exist to promote the common good. Such institutions require outstanding leadership to meet society’s economic, social, cultural and spiritual needs. The aim of the Mandel Institute for Nonprofit Leadership is to strengthen the capacities of talented professionals who lead—or have the potential to lead—important nonprofit institutions.
The Mandel Institute for Nonprofit Leadership is an initiative of the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Foundation. The Mandel Institute’s inaugural program, the Executive Leadership Program, prepares midcareer professionals for leadership roles in Jewish Community Centers and Jewish Federations.
“The Mandel Institute will strengthen leadership of nonprofit institutions that serve the general public and the Jewish community—a top priority for the Foundation.”– Jehuda Reinharz, President, Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Foundation –
